Design Challenges of Mezzanine Warehouse
Structural Integrity
Load Capacity: Ensuring that the mezzanine structure can support the weight of stored goods, equipment, and personnel is crucial. For keeping the structure stable, height of per layer in the mezzanine rack is 3m. Every layer of mezzanine can hold 500kg-2000 KG. Because the warehouse service for three party logistic business, our client choose the longspan board shelves for simple storage.
Our long term pallet racking has a capacity of 300-800 kg per tier, and each tier of the mezzanine system has 5 tiers of steel shelving, which theoretically allows the mezzanine racking system in this case to hold up to 4 T of inventory weight.

To maximize the warehouse space, we chose the middle for the main racking and placed the ladders and aisles on the sides.
Safety Compants
Access Points: Designing safe and convenient access points, such as stairs, ladders, or lifts, that comply with safety standards.
Safety Barriers and Guardrails
Install proper safety barriers and guard rails to prevent falls and accidents. We add triple safety rails to accommodate adult heights and prevent fall accidents.
Overcoming these obstacles and ensuring timely processing and delivery requires a good combination of optimized processes, effective technology, and a careful balance between speed and quality.
For the customer’s warehouse, which is mainly used for human picking, we customized 9 tiers of low-spaced medium-sized racks with a load capacity of 300-800 KG per tier. Suitable for complex storage of small sku inventories, as well as for fast order fulfillment.

This project utilized adjustable racking system according to the client’s needs. The high-density racking system is loading the cardbox when we accepted our clients records. It is holding the small and light weight inventory like screws, tools, toys,etc.

Delivering this project in amazing time, our local client prepare their warehouse space in advance of the racking system’s arrival. Taking just 3 weeks to custom the racking, this fully customized metal pallet racking was installed in a mere 2 weeks on-site.
